CELEBRATE
We set the stage — you live the moment.
By weekday, a living room.
By weekend, a chapel.
On the day of celebration, the StoryHaus team quietly transforms the main spaces for your gathering—then returns them to fireside chats and movie nights before the evening ends.
The next morning brings coffee and quiet conversation with the people you love—exhaling after the rite of passage.
In the end, StoryHaus celebrations are built around the rarest luxury: time together — the moments that become the stories you'll tell for years to come.
-
Our team of project planners, event designers, and hosts genuinely loves helping families gather well. In the months leading up to your celebration, we listen carefully and plan the details so the experience feels calm, beautiful, and fully supported.
Because this is our founding year, couples are also invited into the journey as we continue shaping how StoryHaus serves celebrations through intentional time, thoughtful planning, beauty, and connection.
Every StoryHaus celebration is supported in three essential ways — planning, atmosphere, and hosting — so you can stay fully present with your people.
At StoryHaus, weddings unfold over several days. Celebration day begins with breakfast in the Dining Room and often ends with fireside conversations in the Great Hall long after the festivities conclude.
Below, we’ll walk you through the essentials of a StoryHaus celebration.

Your role:
Be present with your people.
Choose a Seasonal Chapter
At StoryHaus, weddings aren’t limited by season. Our great hall—with soaring windows overlooking the wooded meadow—creates a beautiful setting year-round.
Fall brings cranberry meadows glowing red and gold. Winter fills the house with trees and candlelight. Spring returns with fresh branches and bright snow. Summer opens the doors to long daylight and meadow air.
Each season offers its own beauty—and sometimes the most meaningful celebrations happen in the unexpected chapter.
Choose your length of Stay
At StoryHaus, time is on your side.
Time to arrive and acclimate.
Time for puzzles, conversation, and shared meals.
Time to build toward the big moments and be fully present with your whole being.
And afterward, time to enjoy the afterglow—whether that means quiet fireside conversations or heading out to explore the remarkable Alaska landscape surrounding you.

Choose everything else....
Every storyHAUS celebration is supported in three essential ways — planning, atmosphere, and hosting — so you can stay in the moment.
At StoryHaus, weddings unfold over several days, yet on the day of celebration it transforms — beginning with breakfast in the Dining Room and ending with fireside conversations in the Great Hall long after the celebration is complete. Rather than a few scheduled hours, the day is cared for from morning through evening so couples and their families can relax into the rhythm of the gathering.
-
Beginning about six months before your celebration, our team helps guide the details so the weekend feels effortless when it arrives.
Planning support includes:
• Wedding coordination beginning six months prior
• Invitation selection and ordering support
• Marriage license and paperwork guidance
• Vendor coordination and scheduling
• Sound, music, and lighting logistics
• Timeline design for ceremony and reception flow
• Simple MC guidance for the celebrationIn the week leading up to the wedding, we work alongside vendors and our hosting team to quietly bring the details together so you can focus on the people gathered around you.
-
StoryHaus was designed to feel warm, layered, and quietly beautiful — a place where gatherings feel natural rather than staged.
To support this, the HAUS includes a curated collection of décor and celebration pieces that couples are welcome to incorporate into their wedding design. These pieces live on site and are available to help shape the atmosphere of the day without the need to source every detail from outside vendors.
Our collection includes items such as:
• candle collections and soft lighting elements
• ceremony accents and display pieces
• table décor and styling pieces
• serving displays for grazing tables and desserts
• simple floral vessels and centerpiece elementsCouples may choose to incorporate these pieces as they wish, and our team will style and place the selected elements during the Great Hall transformation, helping bring the vision of the celebration to life.
For couples who wish to go further, simple fresh floral arrangements can be prepared through StoryHaus, or we can coordinate with one of our preferred floral vendors for a more elaborate design.

At StoryHaus, hosting happens in two ways — caring for the stay and caring for the celebration itself.
During your time on the estate, couples may choose the level of food support that best fits their gathering. Some groups prefer to keep the home as a sanctuary, preparing meals together or exploring local restaurants. Others choose one of our provisioned pantry options, where breakfast basics, lunches, and simple meals are thoughtfully stocked and ready. For couples who want a fully hosted experience, chef-supported meals can also be arranged through our preferred vendors.
On the wedding day itself, hospitality is cared for from morning through evening. Lodgers begin the day with a hearty continental breakfast, followed by a light lunch of salads and sandwiches while the StoryHaus team quietly prepares the Great Hall for the celebration.
For weddings of 25 guests or fewer, StoryHaus provides a beautifully styled grazing table reception and dessert display as part of the package. Couples planning a larger feast may work with one of our preferred caterers for buffet or seated dining.
As the evening winds down, the Great Room is discreetly returned to its living room setting, with light snacks available for fireside conversation or a relaxed movie night with close friends and family.
HOW IT COMES TOGETHER…
Once your weekend starts to take shape, we’ll walk you through exactly how it works.
-
How It Comes Together
StoryHaus weddings are built in two parts: your celebration and your stay.
The celebration carries the experience—your stay shapes the time around it.For many couples, this replaces a traditional venue, multiple vendors, and separate lodging—bringing everything into one cohesive place.
Founder’s Year celebrations are intentionally limited, reserved for couples who feel drawn to be part of the beginning of StoryHaus as it continues to take shape.
The Celebration
The wedding experience begins at the Founder’s Year Celebration Rate of $11,900, designed to carry your day from the months leading up through the final evening.
This includes planning, coordination, and a fully supported event:
– Wedding planning and coordination beginning ~6 months out
– Invitation selection and design guidance
– Day-of coordination and full hosting team– Limited journalistic-style photography coverage
– MC, sound, and lighting support– Food throughout your celebration day for up to 25 guests:
• Continental breakfast and light lunch
• A fully styled grazing table and dessert display
• Late-night snacks as the house settles back into its evening rhythmFor larger gatherings or expanded experiences:
• Catering for up to 50 guests
• Buffet-style or seated feast options
• Beer, wine, and hosted drink service– Event setup and takedown
– Decor and large-scale installations
– Cleaning and full reset of the homeRather than sourcing each piece individually, everything is held together in one place—so the day feels calm, supported, and fully experienced.
The Stay
Your stay shapes the time around your celebration—giving you space to gather, rest, and experience Alaska together.
Lodging is added based on the length of your stay and the season you choose, with rates structured similarly to a lodge or VRBO experience.
Most couples choose:
– 3-day stays (minimum)
– 5-day weekends (most common)
– With the option to extend 7+ days and make StoryHaus your home baseWith space for up to 25 guests, StoryHaus becomes a place for shared meals, slow mornings, and time together surrounding your celebration.
Additional options for your stay may include provisioned meals, private chef experiences, and support planning your time together—including guided excursions and Alaska itineraries.
Many families choose to extend their stay—creating space for excursions, rest days, and time to explore Alaska together.
The time becomes your own.
Closing
For many families, StoryHaus replaces both a traditional venue and a large portion of lodging—bringing everything into one cohesive experience.
